There will be four problem sheets. 

The Part A Numerical Analysis course is undergoing a syllabus update in HT 2021. About a third of the content will be replaced from previous years. Namely, the following contents are new:

- Least-squares problem (lecture 4)
- Singular value decomposition (lecture 5)
- Numerical solution of differential equations (lectures 12-16). 

The lecture notes, particularly on differential equations, will be posted and updated as the term progresses. 

The materials that are replaced from previous years are 
- Newton-Cotes quadrature, 
- Splines, and 
- Extrapolation.
