1.4 Buddy System

 

All incoming MSc students will be buddied with an internal fourth year MMathPhys student, who has transferred from Oxford's undergraduate MMath, MPhys or MMathPhil programme. The purpose is to help integrate new students. We aim to make these matches based on identical or closely located colleges. MSc students will receive their buddy’s college e-mail address to make contact. Questions can be asked about practical aspects of student life at Oxford. Depending on the ratio of internal and external students, some internal students may have more than one external buddy. There is no need to meet individually, but you can get together as a group.
