      This problem sheet contains questions on Special relativity which are considered pre-requisites. 

      This will not be graded but solutions will be provided next week. 

      Please attempt the problems before looking at the solutions. 

    • Sheet 1 Assignment
      The problems on this sheet correspond to material covered in week 1 and some review questions on special relativity. You should provide answers to section B which will be marked.

      Deadline for submitting work is Sunday 22nd October 23:59.

      Solutions for the problems can be found below in the feedback section.
    • Sheet 2 Assignment
      The problems on this sheet correspond to material covered in weeks 3 and 4.
      This will not be marked but solutions will be provided and the sheet will be discussed in the tutorials in week 5.
    • Sheet 3 Assignment
      The problems on this sheet correspond to material covered in weeks 5 and 6.

      There is a mathematica file attached which computes the Einstein equation for the Schwarzschild solution, this is for part C.
    • Sheet 4 Assignment
      The problems on this sheet correspond to material covered in weeks 6, 7 and 8.
      This problem sheet will not be marked but will be discussed in HT1 in the final tutorial.
